About Us
Originally from Columbus, Georgia, I attended Columbus State University where I received my bachelor’s degree in finance. Next, I received my MBA from Kennesaw State University. Finally, I attended John Marshall Law School in Atlanta and received by law degree in 2009. My military service began in 1984 as a private in the United States Army and concluded in November 2006 when I retired as an Active Duty Major with the Georgia Army National Guard. I embarked on law school shortly before retiring and then worked with the Georgia Department of Public Health until graduation.
In February 2010, I initiated my solo legal practice, covering various areas of law. My primary focus now is bankruptcy and injuries (catastrophic, medical malpractice, and wrongful death) with the intent to help you and your loved ones through difficult times.
My wife, Ashley, is a legal nurse consultant and an intensive care nurse. She has been instrumental in the quality of care we offer our clients by providing insights into the medical aspects of our clients' injuries. She assists clients with medical treatment guidance and follows-up to bolster their cases. She also coordinates with healthcare providers for their necessary ongoing care. Currently, Ashley is preparing for the law school admissions test with the intent to start law school in Fall 2025. She brings over a decade of experience in supporting my law firm and serving as a trial resource for various law firms in Georgia.
The Chronister Law Firm has cultivated relationships with other legal and medical experts to help expand the experience and knowledge base available for our clients’ cases. Our practice understands the importance of ensuring your case is postured for the best possible outcome and will use all available resources to help you navigate a difficult time in your life. You are not just a number, you will receive one on one care from me as your attorney and Ashley as my legal nurse consultant.
